Lake Fork is home to some of the best fishing guides in the country, and I feel fortunate to be one of them. When I started guiding part-time in 1999, I never dreamed that I would be able to make a career being a fishing guide. In 2001, I left corporate America to begin guiding full-time. It doesn't seem like I've been doing this full-time for 20+ years.

I highly recommend that you talk with any guide you are considering hiring for your fishing trip to Lake Fork. There are many good fishermen and many good fishing guides on Lake Fork, but being a good fisherman doesn’t necessarily make you a good guide.
